Clive, I'm assuming you're in the UK, so it might be worth having this page by you.

http://uk.docs.yahoo.com/codeofpractise.html#_Toc68954323#_Toc68954323

Their UK customer service number is 0870 352 2000

The page quoted above also contains information about making a complaint, in case the customer service route doesn't let you resolve the problem.

I wouldn't be inclined to delete an account until I'd tried to resolve the problem with the old one.

Vince.

Hello Vince,

thank you for your suggestions. I tried searching for groups I am subscribed to using both my Yahoo and home addresses and found none, then I tried to join a group. My home address is disabled so all group messages will be sent to my Yahoo address. I prefer to receive messages via my home e-mail account, so
would it be best to delete my Yahoo account and start again?

Best wishes,

Clive Pallett
