Hi Graham,

The latest news from Pure is disappointing. They have no plans to
extend the iVox speech into other of their products because, they say,
it's performance in terms of sales has been, in their terms
disappointing. This is sad, not least because the most recent addition
to their catalogue is a personal DAB/FM receiver with much the same
functionality as The Bug kitchen model. So you can rewind, pause and
record DAB to an SD card. But it's display is extremely VI unfriendly
and it relies more heavily than other models on menus.
Having said this, in my experience across the board, once you've
mastered the principle of DAB sets, it's pretty easy to apply it.

Cheers now.

Ian

Subject: [access-uk] Pure radios

Hi

I have a talking pure radio. Very nice radio)

I now wish to purchase another but with the FM tuner built in. As far
as I can see pure do not make a talking one with this option.

Do any of you use a non talking FM one and is it fairly easy to use with
no sight.

Regards

Graham
