Quicktime is legit, it often comes down with iTunes or the Safari browse but 
may have other sources as well.  I am not sure what your best route to removing 
it, but you could probably have a look in MSConfig.exe and prevent anything of 
it running from there if you want.

hi,

is quicktime spyware?  it seemed to have installed when I was trying to
update real player. it won't uninstall now though, it says the
uninstillation file cannot be found. how can I get rid of it?
