Steve,
I got it going. Thank you. I had changed my colours to windows classic
because I thought GW had said Window Eyes doesn't care what system colour
you use. Well it seems that the read and unread will only work on Windows
Standard colours. That's fine I'm happy with this. By any chance I wonder if
Window Eyes can be told to sound from a dedicated sound card? Currently I do
have Jaws from my laptop sound card and music from my SB Audigy direct to my
speakers. By doing this, the music is not interfered with by Jaws. Can
Window Eyes be configured to do this?

Hi Steve,
I have done that and the MSO 2003 set file is loaded. Still, I don't' get
read and unread in the message listview.
I did have it to begin with. But that ability just disappeared.

Hi Peter,

Check out the settings for Outlook that Window-Eyes needs to happen. To do
this, go into the Window-Eyes control panel, control-backslash, then File
Menu, Alt F, then Factory Set Files, F. Now select the version of Office
that you have from the list of set files, and press the tab key once, to
read the readme information. Make sure that everything is set correctly.

All the best

Steve

Hi listers,
How do I get Window Eyes 6.1 to say read and unread messages in Outlook?
Currently it doesn't say either. Nor does it say, flagged or high priority
etc.

Peter

Subject: [access-uk] Latest version of JAWS?

Hi all -

I've been using JFW in 40 minute mode [version 9.0.552u] and have now just
bought what I was told by S&S, would be the latest release [9.1?] Anyway,
they've sent me version 9, and when I came to install it, was told that a
later version was already on my machine, which of course it is in the form
of the demo version.

If I remove the demo version, and install version 9 from the cd, will I then
be able to upgrade to the latest version [9.1 or whatever it currently is]
from the Freedom Scientific website?

Anybody noticed how the version 9 release doesn't even have the version
numberr on the cd packaging, let alone the authorisation number! -
