Don't know specifically about Capital Gold, but had difficulty using Real
alternative in getting someone's PC to listen to Irish radio recently. It
used SMIL files, and I had to install Realplayer to get it to work. There
may be another work around with Real Alternative, but I don't know what it
is.

I have been trying to listen to a radio station recently using real
alternative but no joy.
They were Gold (formerly Capital Gold) and the new station 4 FM.
Does anyone know if Real Alternative has difficulty using embedded Real
plug-ins as audio?
