Hi Aedan:

For this, don't use iTunes, it'll only complicate things, and if you're a
jaws user, iTunes is currently inaccessible anyway.
Go to settings, general, usage, and then to manage usage, swipe through the
list there, and you'll find the apps listed, along with the amount of
storage they take up.  Double tap on the app you want to remove, then swipe
to delete app.  Double tap that.

Done.
