Hi Ari,

Sorry am coming in late on this thread,

I am trying to think about german children books and am wondering
whether you could join german audible? I am german myself but am unsure
now whether you can join Audible.de even if you are living abroad?
I am living abroad since 7 years so am unsure about those new services
but can find out?
That might help to get german books/reading material.

And regarding mailing lists, have you tried the huge plattform
www.blindzeln.net

They have a few english mailing lists too but mainly german mailing
lists for every topic so I'm sure you'll find something you're
interested in.
Actively practising the language skills whilst developing new skills
might feel easier?

Know what you mean though, grammar is very difficult and a huge hurdle.

Regards, Madleen

Wow Doris, thanks that you said that you're German. I please need some
advice. I am learning German and I want to know from where can I get
free children's ebooks or other easy ones that I can read on a braille
display? My teacher has helped me get normal braille books from DZB,
but it is not working too well because the post office here in South
Africa is unreliable. I can't use speech because the people read too
fast and also I can't look up words or get them to be spelled. Can you
also give me some good blind German web sites and mailing lists? My
biggest problem I am having with learning German is the grammar, like
this accusative and dative, it is just so difficult to understand when
exactly to use what. Not to mention all these words with the different
genders.
Thanks
Ari
