Hi Andrew.

Yes, I'm going to telephone them on Friday but wanted first to see if any other list member had achieved this. £25.00 is quite expensive for me on IB and I also pay my broadband. No wonder I've holes in my shoes hahaha.

Best wishes.

Andy

Hi,

This sounds very expensive. I think you need to have a mirrored sky card as well - which is a bit extra per month.

To be honest, the best thing to do is to ring up Sky, because they may be able to tell you what you can do with Sky Plus.

Andrew.

Subject: [access-uk] SKY Plus question

Hi all.

I'm currently on a low budget SKY package of £15.00 a month. The Digibox I
have is not the SKY Plus but the older model which allows me to record the
station that I'm currently watching.

As my wife Pauline normally watches SKY from 9.00 till about 10.00, I
regularly miss a movie or program that I'd liked to have seen, and as I can
only record the channel being screened, then I miss out.

I have another room where the dogs and my hi-fi live and sometimes me also.
I'm thinking of getting SKY Plus for this second room.

My question is if I do get the SKY Plus box for about £25.00 a month, will I
be allowed to hold onto the old Digibox for Pauline?

If this was achievable, then tonight, I could record two movies which are on
at 9.00 while Pauline is watching Pet Rescue or something like that in her
room.

Any advise or information would be very much appreciated.

Best wishes.

Andy
