This may or may not be the answer.
I believe it should work and only moved to Widnows 7 on Friday.
The acquire text menu items do not appear on the file menu but have their
own ocr menu elsewhere which if you get sighted assistance can be located.
Then all should be ok

Hi everyone
I have a 64 bit laptop running windows 7 home premium, word 2002 and Jaws
version 11.
On my PC I have Home XP, word 2002 and Jaws version 10. On the PC I scan my
documents into a word document using Omnipage 16, but it does not appear to
function on the laptop-probably because the laptop is a 64 bit machine.
My question is:
Will Omnipage version 17 allow me to scan into a word 2002 document, similar
to my set up on the PC or will I have to update word?
