Yes, that's what I got with Jaws 11 but nothing with Jaws 10.

I've just checked again and www.bbc.co.uk definitely has
2 edit boxes. One is to do with recipe ingredients and
the other is the search BBC edit box. I am using IE8 and
JAWS 11.

With IE8 and Jaws 10, pressing 'e' just says *There are
no edit boxes*. So,
is it Jaws or is it the website?

Cheers

I have no problem with IE8 and JAWS 11. pressing e twice
took me to an edit
box headed "search term". It seems perfectly accessible.

Hi Edward

Thanks for this info. I've just sent an email to
Jonathon Hassle at the BBC
and have pointed out the IE versus FF accessibility.

Cheers

Hi Barry,

This probably won't be of much help, but I can't locate
an edit field either
using Internet Explorer 7 and JAWS 10. However, I can
using Firefox 3 and
JAWS 10.

Unfortunately I don't know why that should be.

Anyone know how to search on the BBC home page:

www.bbc.co.uk

There's a search button, but no edit field. Someone
has really screwed up
the beeb for me.
