Hi.

Log in to the GMail interface and press enter on settings. when in settings, click pop/imap in the settings catagories above the table and then look for an option to enable imap and click save. then give it a try. if it still doesn't work, log in to your google account and then in the address bar type in accounts.google.com then click on security and change the setting to allow access for less secure apps. if you need more in depth instructions please don't hesitate to let me know.
