Hi all

When travelling, can one send email via the laptop/PDA email programme having set up the same email account as that used at home and provided by the home ISP?

I have no problems receiving email when travelling but can't send any and error 501, invalid base64, is displayed.

I am trying to get round using webmail.

My ISP, Virgin Media, tells me that I can't send email via my account when not at my PC.
Is this correct though?

Your help is highly appreciated thanks.

Deon
