Hi Jeff

Then just a friendly word of warning. Some vendors take advantage and can
be pushy. If there is something you think might help you, ask for a
demonstration of that product away from SV at your own home. If the vendor
doesn't want to do that, they aren't worth their salt anyway. Don't be
tempted to part with any money on a whim, especially if you think it's a
good product but need more time to think. Once you buy something, you are
often stuck with it, and that is a shame if it has cost a packet.

Just go with an open mind and take details of companies selling items you
are really keen to see again at home. Once you've then had your demos in
your own home, you have the option to decide. After all, a demo at home is
non-obligatory.

Enjoy, and the very best of luck.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

I made one purchase once following Sight Village, it was Wayfinder
Access and that for me was a negative experience.

Hi Jeff

Sight Village is in Birmingham this coming Tuesday and Wednesday I
understand. It is being held on two days rather than three this year.

I must admit it can be tiring if you are wandering round trying to
manoeuvre your way through the queues of people, though there are
some very nice guides available. But, trust me, it's even more
tiring for those who exhibit as I know myself.

I would definitely try to go if I lived close enough, if only for the
social aspect as I know so many nice people out there. But even if I
lived within the vicinity, my back is so cranky now I doubt I'd last
the course!
(smile).

If you go Jeff, enjoy yourself. Leave your money at home, and wear
good shoes! (smiles).

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns
