Hi Jackie.

I use Skype to instant message all the time, it isn't that hard really. In the contacts list, if you press enter on a contact then you'll be taken to an edit field, you can type a message in there and it will be sent using Skype's IM service. You can then review all messages by doing a shift tab, then tapping the down arrow to review all messages sent by time. That's how I do it anyway and I'm not one for remembering lots of shortcuts so there are probably better ways of doing this if you're a power Skyper. Incidentally I'm using Jaws 13 and Windows 7 without any additional scripts installed.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] Skype question

Another query for you guys from a different friend not subscribed here.

Since WLM is being discontinued, how does one access the live part of Skype
using the latest build of JAWS 14? My friend wants to type as one would in
Live Mail, but this is seemingly not accessible. Are there any scripts or
ways it can work with JAWS? I know nothing about this, so please bear with
me. I will simply forward any help given.

Many thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns
