hi david it is only possible to use via mains but you can use any oulet in your
house. the radio connects to your router wirelessly and first time you set it
up has to be done with a pair of eyes then you are fine to go. shame about the
battery as then you could maybe get one of the portable routers and take your
radio where ever you wanted to. hth.

0 Hi all
0
0 I am seriously considering purchasing the Sonata radio, but have one
0 question. After you have set up the sonata, is it possible to plug it into
0 any mains socket in your house, or do you have to listen at your computer
0 with the sonata connected to your router?
0
0 I need clarification on this point before I purchase. Could someone also
0 confirm that it is only useable from the mains, i$every. no battery operation?
