Hi Paul, I think the website you want is http://www.soundaround.org - there is a short statement on the only page there which include the following statement: " 2012 also marks a time of change for Soundaround. After some 35 years of our popular cassette distribution service, we are now in the process of exploring new ideas for our future charitable involvement in the lives of Blind and partially sighted people. We will be announcing our plans in due course. In the meantime, if you wish to contact us please email chair@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" I think they might have financially gone "pop" - here's their page at the charity commission: http://goo.gl/SuFl6 It seems that between 2008 and 2011 they had an income of £35k and spending of £179k - for the year ended 2010 alone their income was £5,030 and outgoing of £73,667. Goodness knows what it was spend on - £73.5k is a lot of tape in one year! - but I don't see how it's viable to be honest. Not saying there's anything dodgy, but that might explain their lack of current output.
