Ian, if you look on Play.com you can get an adapter with lots of different
plugs on it which pull out and slot in again. It's made by Swiss products. They
sent me one before by mistake, so I know what it's like. It's like a little
barrel shaped unit and the different pins pull out and push in as required. It
had lots of different bits on it, so I'm sure it would have that one.

As I type this message I now remember that Gavin Griffiths is selling one on
the Recycle-IT list, so why not give him a shout.

I will be going to South Africa at the end of next month and would like to
get hold of an adapter which will allow me to use British electrical appliances
there. I need an adapter which has three round pins and a British three-pin
square socket. Can anyone advise?

  Iain
