What are you trying to back up in the cloud, your house?
I know that people have a lot of data, but you don't need to back up 4294967296000bits of it. maybe some important documents, home movies, songs, any work. but not all the computers in your house.
if you're that distraught, go with something else.
in fact, I don't think Dropbox was intended as a backup service in the beginning, or at least, most people use it for file sharing and collaborative works.

Hi,

Maybe I am paranoid but "the cloud" seems a tad odd. I mean. who owns
the information? copyright etc? apart from this, it seems that Dropbox
only allows 500GB which isn't enough.

Personally I really like Drop-Box.
Apart from its accessibility it makes file sharing so simple.
I have lots of relatives in Australia we constantly share audio files.

Hi all,

I am flirting with the idea of using an online system to back-up my
files, or rather to be more accurate, back-up my back-up. Has anybody
any experience of "cloud" based systems? if so, can anybody recommend
a company/site please?

Thanks a lot,

BJ

p.s.

Tried Mypcbackup and it is inaccessible!
