Hi Peter

This is just a personal view, but I recently bought a VRS purely for music
purposes as I can access its well defined buttons with one finger when I am
walking on the treadmill, as opposed to using the iPod Touch on it with two
hands. I have been really impressed and love my Stream. Martin has had his
for several years. We've also got a BookSense XT, the Milestone Pro and a
Plextalk Pocket, all of which we use for different purposes and features.
But we've both decided that the VRS does what it says on the box, and is our
favourite of the specialist players. I appreciate it is the largest, but
the buttons are great, Martin can get very high speeds when reading audio
books, and it works well for me with a pair of Apple in-ear headphones and a
32GB SD card full of music.

Just my tuppence, others will probably chip in with suggestions for other
devices.

Kind Regards,

Jackie Cairns

Subject: [access-uk] Stream replacement recommendations please

Have just managed to drop and smash my Stream. I suspect there are better
products now since this is fairly old technology.

I am looking for something a little smaller with similar capabilities and a
wireless connection would be a bonus. Any suggestions please.
