for a blind person to be able to use them. although it's brilliant tech for
someone out of work who is blind all this will add up. if he or she has glasses
£2000 computer with speech £800 braille display £800 iphone or android phone
cost varies satnav £500 jaws cost varies because of the price of the updates.
all i'm trying to say is i feel very much for the poor person trying to get out
and about to find a job or go to the shops or what ever all this is fantastic
for us all but a lot of it is out of reach of a good number of blind people. i
think this band though does sound rather good and only £300 maybe will help a
lot of people who cannot aford such things as say the glasses. for me as a
guide dog owner and a piano tuner all this is of great help because hear in
leeds now if i need help to learn a difficult route there's nowhere to go and
get help with it only by using your own tech.
