  Hi, yes, the box receives freeview and it records. As for the internet 
facility the main purpose of that is accessing IPlayer, which isn't accessible. 
It's also used to download software upgrades from the TVonics website, but as I 
understand from previous posts the version of the software which downloads 
doesn't include the speech component. In any event, now the company's gone into 
administration it's anyone's guess how long the website will be there. It is, 
in any case far easier to download software off air via the aerial.
