Yes, I think that could be the problem but, of course, some don't happen to have a rescheduled time ... Hmm! All in the mix for future consideration when we record a lot in one evening.

Thanks.

Hi Carol.

If you record a lot of programs in one evening, it may be the case that as the box can only record 2 programs at once, one program that happened to overlap a scheduled recording could not be recorded and so has been automatically rescheduled for recording at a future date. You can always review the list of timers that are set up in the box by hitting the timer button on the remote and whether that timer was set as part of a series link or automatic reschedule.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Hi all,

We hope some can shed light on the problems we have experienced on two
occasions now where recordings have been set but not recorded.

On each occasion it was a busy evening of recording, in our absence, and in
some cases they were rescheduled (automatically by the box) for later
recording.

First, has anyone else experienced these problems in recent weeks? (I think
both may have been on Thursday evenings.)

Now we want to understand what is happening here and decide on our course of
action:

Is it likely that the start and end times were not picked up by the box and,
if so, may we improve the situation with a manual tune?

Our recorder still works and we know that two programmes do still work at
once (ususually), so we are not thinking this is a disc problem; but would
anyone consider that our thinking is not correct here? If so, please
explain your reasons.

We are keen to try to avoid missing programmes in the future so any help on
this matter would be gratefully received.

Carol P
