Just noticed this on the RNIB website.
Sounds okay, but would be better if it were digital. This is the

Talking radio
Enlarge Image Portable FM/LW/MW/SW talking radio which has been designed
specifically for ease of use. All functions are spoken and, if you wish, you
can record station names in your own voice. Stock is due week commencing
19th July but orders can still be placed.
?choose from four wavelengths: FM, SW, MW and LW and store up to 80 stations
in total, 20 per wavelength
?you can voice tag to up to 30 saved stations which allows you to listen to
their names in your own voice recording, for example "BBC Radio 2" or

?manual scan allows you to manually search for a specific radio station

have to miss your favourite programme
?features a 12/24 hour talking clock and snooze alarm which sounds every ten
minutes
?30 second memo recorder
?supplied with four AA batteries. Replacement batteries are available from
RNIB under product code CP03. Please note: RNIB does not guarantee
batteries. Radio also supplied with an AC/DC adapter for mains power.
