It is likely to be C5 as Ian suggested if it is numeric keypad but if it is
qwerty it is likely to be E5. If E5 werty then the Talks key is to the left of
the space bar and Ian has told you where the talks key default is on the C5.

Many thanks, I didn’t check the model when I collected it from the store
yesterday but will try your helpful suggestion re going in to advanced menu
items and sellecting the Talks key. If this doesn’t work I’ll get back with the
model number once I’ve found it! Ian thanks also for your help.

  Regards,

  Kevin

There is a Talks default key Kevin. What Nokia phone do you have, is it
numeric keypad or qwerty. Let me know the model and I hope I can help.

Subject: [access-uk] Talks key on new Nokkia

        Hello,

I’ve recently acquired a new Nokkia from Vodafone with Talks software on
it. On all previous phones from Vodafone a key (the hash) has acted as a
short-cut key to Talks applications such as volume, spelling out letters etc
(for example I could press Talks key followed by the number 9 and hear the time
read out), however on the new phone there appears to be no Talks key which
means I need to go into the Talks menu rather than being able to use the
short-cut key. Can anyone advise whether I can set up a short-cut key and, if
so how I do it?

    Many thanks,

    Kevin
