Hi

OK, let's look at either site assuming that a user is not in my position.
Let's therefore assume they arrow or tab around every web page. On the old
site, they would encounter add butons etc before products even started being
listed, and then again not until the end of the page. Now, they get one
where it makes sense. How are they to know that the buttons would be
duplicated?

The complaint has been not in the main from basic users, but from ones who
use accessibility features in screen readers who have found the change
difficult. I have not argued that the new site is perfect, but that it does
work and is accessible, and has advantages over the old one!

Dave,

I think that you are missing the whole principal behind accessibility and
usability. You are evidently access technology savvy, but the whole
principal of accessibility and usability is ensuring that content is
available to everyone no matter there skill, the technology or browsers they

use.

Don't defend Tesco and others just because you have the competence and
training to adapt your use of their content.
