Just a thank you to all who respnedresponded including one or two who sent me
the file.

I've had what looks to be a helpful reply from Dymo tech support and I feel
confident I should be up and running with the label printer again soon.
Mystery to me is why it went down in the first place.

One final comment on my visit to Staples where I bought the printer in the
first place. They did have a couple on the shelves but the boxes had been torn
open and manuals discs removed. Don't know if this signals others may have had
the same problem, but if you ask me its all too typical of the grottiness of
some computer retail stores now. I'm not exactly blaming Staples for this
state of affairs, though whether any boxes should have been out at all is
another matter. I feel sure they would help if they could, and another branch
might still.

Just don't wonder folks at the sometimes abysmal state of computer retailing
when there are so many anti-social types they get in physical retail outlets.
Little wonder many want to move to internet selling.
Ray
