Think I have seen the site mate but I will certainly have another look.

As I trawled today I see the Tap so am thinking that might be a way to go for me as it's portable and is battery-operated.

I don't think though that it's in these parts yet but no doubt soon enough I guess.

BTW, I think you may be a bit of an expert on this so does the Alexa take a bit of configuring?

Best,

Tony Sweeney.

Hi tony,

The voice comes with the Dot, but you will need a speaker to get a good sound out of the dot. the Echo comes with it own speaker built in.

Hi folk,

Thanks for the interesting and sometimes even amusing LOL posts here recently.

I don't have a smart phone but only a laptop and a netbook so I wonder are the Echo and Dot usable with them?

I wonder also as I have mobile broadband does the Echo/Dot work anywhere as long as I have my wi Fi enabledor say if out and about using other Wi FI?

Finally do I need to download Alexa or is it there by default and using the Echo or Dot have I then accessx to internet radio?

Best,

Tony Sweeney.?
