Hi Trace

I will subscribe you as soon as I get to a broadband connection, which should be within the next day or so.

I hope that is OK.

Subject: [access-uk] The I pod list and some questions

Hi

I've tried subbing to the blind I pod list but some strange message about no cookie or one of the wrong type came back and so I've no idea if I'm subbed or not, I posted the message here but had no response and so am clueless!! Is it Brian Hartgen who runs it? may be he could see if I'm subbed under busy.bee.

In the meantime I have some questions.

My computer man has recommended against me using Limewire that i mentioned on this list a while back, he said its illegal and that all sorts of nasties could be picked up from it, is this the same of all music download sites? what about I tunes?

My computer man also mentioned apple having a site but you have to own an I Pod for this to be accessible to you, would I be right in hinking that they're not very friendly towards blind people? I believe on the apple site you pay by tune downloaded, surely you don't put a separate credit card transaction through for every one?

Any help or advice on this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Trace
