[access-uk] Total recorder versus goldwave?

Hi Everyone.
I'm currently using goldwave for my audio editing and conversion needs, however
Total Recorder has been recommended as an accessible alternative. If someone
has used or uses both applications, could they please give me a rundown of the
features of TR and if possible a comparison? Looking on the total recorder
site, I also see a number of plug-in. One that caught my eye was the audio
restoration function, however has anyone used this and if they have, what do
you think of it?
