[access-uk] Re: Tvonics Freeview Talking Recorder

Hi all

I have today purchased the talking freeview box and have just one question.
The tv which will be used for connecting to the box does have a freeview
tuner, but it is not currently tuned correctly as I only use my virgin media
box. Once I have connected the new talking box, will it be necessary to
tune my tv, and can I easily move between my virgin set top box and the new
one?

David

Hi Dean.

Unfortunately not, this box only has scart or HDMI outputs, however you
could connect a composite convertor to the scart socket or alternatively a
scart to fono lead, both of which you should be able to find cheaply on
sites like EBay or in retail outlets like Maplin.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Is there a port to connect this box to a hifi, maybe a line out or headphone
socket? I don't I have an optical input on my system.
