four g, is the new high speed data for mobile devices. the problem is, the current freeview digital signals are very close to those on the four g spectrum. it is said that over 2000000 ----- homes will be affected by this issue when four g is released, as those homes are within 200 metres of a base station broadcasting the four g. the filter which we are talking of is meant to filter out the bleed over like an ADSL filter does for your phoneline when accessing broadband.Original Message ----- From: "Kevin Cussick" <the.big.white.shepherd@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

I understand that when G4 becomes live a filter will need to be fitted
to Freeview units to prevent interference. Has anybody any ideas about
these filters and whether they have to be fitted within the box itself
or just connected to it?
