I have a docking station but when I upgraded to Iphone 6, I could no longer
connect the iPhone with the docking station. I went into the EE shop but
they couldnt help but Maplins could and a little adapter, no more than an
inch or so in size, cost me £25, but at least I can now use the docking
station.

What I am looking for is something to put a USB memory stick in and then
connect it to an iOS device with lightning.
There a couple for Micro USB but the nearest I could find is the below. Not
sure why they specify it for a camera. Others that I have seen also
advertise it as this.

Hi Sarah.
There are products like the iStick which will let you read content on a USB
memory stick, if that is what you're trying to do, however you would use the
app that you can download from the app store for that product. There is no
way of directly interfacing an iPhone with a memory stick as far as I know,
except through the use of third party add-on solutions.
