Thanks a lot everyone for all the feedback. Steve, I'd agree with you but I
don't want to risk draining my phone's battery specially when I'm travelling!
Though one can perhaps invest in a Nokia charger that can be plugged into the
electricity sockets of airplanes' seats.

Cheers,
Amro

  Hi Jackie,

Yes, my N95 even beats the Ipod Shuffles that I have heard. More rich bass,
and an all-round better experience.

  All the best

  Steve

That's exactly what I was going to ask you Steve, whether you prefer a phone
to any of the conventional players. I certainly do (smile).

    Hi Ray,

My player of choice at the moment is the Nokia N95. Tremendous musicality.
And yes, it has a full graphic equaliser.

    All the best

    Steve

Yes, agree totally that Stream's strength isn't in music playing, then it's
not meant to be.

Taking on-board Steves words on this too, wonder if anyone knows of a
player that allows for bass and treble adjustment rather than these settings
that chage the tone according to some notion of music genre such as Rock, Jazz,
etc? If the day arrives I want to improve on the Zenstone for quality music
playing then that sort of tone adjustment is what I'd be looking for.

I love my Stream, but would not recommend it as a music player. The
sound is somehow rather flat.

      Hi Anthony,

Even on headphones, music is not that good. Lifeless I call it.

      All the best

        Hi all,

A question please. How do music sound on the Victor Reader? I'm
thinking of getting one mainly to play books but was wondering if it makes a
good music player too.

        Cheers,
        Amro
