If that is possible, it would be the answer but I'm not sure it is as the text to speech probably resides on the player itself and not on the SD card, but I would be very pleased if it was not the case. Will have to mail the manufacturer and see what they suggest and submit that idea to them.

Marie, If you used a Victor Stream and had one sd card with the latest English firmware on it, and another with the latest French firmware, could you notinterchange between the two? All you would need is an extra sd card, and itis easy to substitute one for the other when necessary. Not perfect I know, but it might do what you want.
