Hi Andy
If you are having this kind of problem you can go into WMP then use ctrl+u
to open the url of the stream directly.
For LBC 97.3 this is
mms://live2.interoutemediaservices.com/lbc_low
For News 1152 it is
mms://live2.interoutemediaservices.com/lbc_hi
