Hi all,
Let me share with you a little of the fun I've been having these past few
days. What I've been doing is opening WinMX and, in the two edit fields, I
have been entering the name, Karaoke, pronounced, Kary oki. When I do this I
get about 4 thousand different types of Karaoke files to down load. These
files are much like mp3 files, only I guess they are larger in size. I
believe they are larger in size because they are video files with the
extension of mpg, not mp3.

Anyway, what these files give you is a video of the artist as he is singing
the song. Lets say you downloaded Frank Sinatra singing New york New York..
The file would open in Windows media player, that's fine because, as I've
said, it's a video, or mpg file. But at the bottom of the screen, because
it's a karaoke file, you will get the words or lyrics to the song. This is
really cool if you start to fool around with it. And here's how you fool
around with it to have fun. These mpg or Kari oki files are broken into two
parts, the left hand speaker, and the right hand speaker. The right hand
speaker contains the vocals or the words to the song, the left speaker
contains the music to the song.
If you bring up your sound volume control, you can turn down the volume to
the words by moving the balance to the left, or bring the words up to the
foreground by moving the balance to the right .
You can now search for the lyrics to that song on the internet and learn them
off by heart. Practise learning the words along with the music on the
downloaded karaoke file by moving the balance to the left or right to bring
up the music and or vocals. Think on how you can now be a hit at your local
pub on karyoki night.
Any questions on what I've mentioned?
