As far as I'm concerned, the keychain works and does its job well. The Holux M1000 is a lesser specification unit, bigger in size and as far as I know, now obsolete unless they've resurrected it. I had the opportunity of seeing one and it looked very nice I must say, but time and tech move on and I wouldn't swap it for my keychain if you paid me to *smile*.
