Just to add my 2 penneth to this, the computer can spread the work load across the cores which then means that there is little or no lag when trying to perform multitasking.

I like Petrina looking for a laptop and I am mesmerised by the technology. Does a dual processor mean that Jaws could be run by one section whilst the computer runs more smoothly by the other.
 Quicker still tell me  what to buy!
