Yes, Yahoo can be a problem for people who want to join a group.

I find google Groups fairly straightforward.  I have not set up a list there
for ages, but it is easy to manage once the list is up and  running.

But is it true to say that there are problems for
List members  with  Yahoogroups?

This list,  access-uk,  used to  be with  Yahoogroups,
but because of problems it changed over To freelist.

Like others have said Yahoogroups is the easiest site to set up and
manage groups.
