Hi all.

Windows Media Player 11 on XP.

Can anyone tell me how to delete the library in WMP11 and prevent it from
using it, please?

I put some CD's in to rip them and WmP lists the album and tracks but says
'ripped to library' next to them. It will not then rip the CD and ejects
it.

The second issue is that it will announce a CD's details cannot be retrieved
from the internet and the tracks will be labelled as unknown, and an ok
button. It then spits out the CD and will not rip it.

This behaviour only seems to have started recently, as it used to rip CD's
happily and label them as unknown artist and unknown album.

If I can delete the library and prevent it from using it I may stand a
chance of ripping my CD's as I wish to, and not as the software dictates!

Any ideas appreciated.
