[access-uk] Wireless Kit - What to Buy

Hi List.
I'd like to buy a straight-forward piece of equipment that would allow me to
roam wirelessly through the house. However, I am a complete novice when it
comes to dealing with this kind of gear, and even after having read
information on getting setup from three or four different sites, I'm still
confused as to what I should be looking for!
I'm really hoping that someone on the list can recommend a specific piece of
kit that I can go buy, setup and run without to much user input. I'd like it
to be safe/secure and it doesn't need to have to many bells and whistles. It
would only be used by one laptop.
Can anyone recommend such a wireless gadget?
