Hi Ray, I'll need to remember that by-pass keystroke of Shift and Enter.
I've been suffering from this problem for years and didn't quite understand
why links sometimes refused to work.

Glad you seem to be getting your Listen Again problems sorted Andy.
A quick search on Google suggests the JAWS bypass key is insert-3, but the shifted and enter combination suggested by Peter Beasley is better.
I am trying Alistair King's Listen Again interface and it is indeed good if you want a more straightforward interface, although if you know your screen reader it shouldn't really be necessary. The volume control is a nice touch as in the glorious Beeb player you only get to adjust volume in 20% increments as I recall. Only thing that irks me about it is there's no fast forward, by increments or slider control, that I can discover.
I have turned off the Google popup stopper and seem to be none the worse off for that. The MS pop up blocker in IE seems to catch them all for me, and being MS it should know about MSAA, forms mode, browse mode, call it what you will. This is the problem. Many, if not all third party stoppers don't know about MSAA so get in the way with screen reders.
I guess as much as the expert users amongst us may try to dismiss Alistair Ing's work producing basic easierto use interfaces, it surely points to where many users are with their knowledge of their screen readers and the software they are using. I've grown used to the Beeb's rather cumbersome RP interface and its multitude of links. I guess cramming all those links and genre options into the interface makes it more of a challenge than many screen readers want to face.
