Control Panel:  Display.  Navigate to the Desktop Tab in Display, and
then go to the "Position" Selection List Box.  Select "Centre"

I have a photograph of my guide dog on my desktkop and do not want it
stretched across the screen.  Want to have it centered.  Any
suggestions please?
