Hi Jackie,

I use a Netgear DG834PN router, and the firewall is good, but you will not
really affect your system by running the windows firewall. If your system
works how you like it, I'd leave it switched on. <Smile>.

As we say here in bonny Scotland, "if it's no broke dinny try and fix it".
<grin>.

All the best

Ray, ours is a Netgear router provided by Sky, our ISP. But I've always
left the Windows firewall running because it never occurred to me I'd be
safe to turn it off and let the router do its thing alone. That's why I'm
here, to learn from you guys!! (smile).
