Yes, I'd heard this about Vista's successor turning up sooner than originally planned. Reason? Simple. Vista's not doing as well as MS hoped. Not enough extra bang for the bucks for 30% of users or more, according to a UK survey I saw published in PC Pro. I'm not at all sure we'll be missing out substantially access-tech wise either regarding nice things that can be done in Vista with Mirror drivers vs. video chaining, although the latest release of Window-Eyes I understand might take advantage of mirror drivers for a bit of extra functionality. Like to bet Steve Nutt would know something about this, but he probably cannot say if, as I think, he's a beta tester for W-E7.
