Hi Andy

If you have activated through ILM then you *will* have had to use your 
authorization code before, it is not possible to activate without one.  Are 
you sure you're looking at your version 6 packaging and not the packaging 
for the earlier version of JAWS, which you said you are now using on a 
day-to-day basis after problems with version 6?  I really would get in touch 
with s and S technical support before you do your reinstall of XP, as long 
as you can prove who you are by giving your serial number, address etc they 
will be able to give you the code, which will mean you should be up and 
running again straight away afterwards.
