Hi David,
I don't think your email deletes. I think you have your inbox set to show
only unread messages.
Hit alt V to pull down the view menu. You should hear. View menu. Arrange by
sub menu. Move over to the right using the arrow key and make sure that Date
is checked. You should hear Date checked. If not, hit enter on it so that you
do.
Now, pull down view menu once more, again move over to the right with the
cursor key. Move down the list until you hear. Current view sub menu. Move
over to the right with the arrow key. You want to hear. Messages checked. If
not, hit enter on it so that you do.
You just have to persevere with Outlook. You'll get it in the end.

Peter

Subject: [access-uk] continuing email problems

Hi,

I continue to have email problems using ms outlook. The settings appear to
change each time I turn on. I am getting to know how to restore most of
them but now I have some kind of filter on which I don't want, and also if I
read a message from the in box it deletes when I press escape, rather than
staying in the in box.

This is driving me nuts. Someone please put me out of my misery. I did try
a system restore to yesterday, but it did not alter the outlook settings.

David
