Unfortunately, this isn't the case, although it would be nice if it were.
Each activated device needs to be directly connected to the activating
computer so that an activation ID can be generated using a hardware
identifier on the device using the Audible Download Manager application.
Where that file resides is entirely up to the device manufacturer. For
devices without internal memory, the activation file can be stored on a
memory card yes, however the Audible content needs to be on the same memory
card as the activation file in order for the books to play. In the case of
devices with internal memory, the file is stored on the memory disk or in a
segmented area provided by the manufacturer, you can then put any content
you want on to any SD card, providing that the activation file is readable.

I have not tried it, but I think the Stratus will work as you register
the SD card with Audible.
