If I have got adobe flash for IE installed, have I got to remove it before I installe adobe plug-in for Firefox, or not?

Hi,When I installed the adobe flash plug-in for Firefox and I logged in to my yahoo mail acount I got a crash dialog box, Fire fox shut down and then gave me a crash report.Does any one know how to stop it from crashing?
