Does this mean you just put the PID number in and not the complete name of the
programme? I was also askding about why get iPlayer is still in the edit field
but I did not have a response to my question.

  Hello Jeff,

Henry does it one way, and I do it another.

I go into Internet Explorer, do a search for, say, For whom The Bell Tolls
BBC IPlayer, then enter on the link.

Once on the page, I press Alt+D, which brings up the address bar.

At the right-hand end of this is the PID, which starts with the letter b, for
Bravo.

So, now you have both ways of doing it.

  Good luck.

  With all best wishes,

  Keith

  Hi Jeff

I only use get_iplayer to download BBC radio 4 programs, what i do is go
directly to the radio 4 programs schedule Then search for the past programs,
identify the program you are interested in and enter on the listen again link
and at the top of the page within the address bar in the PID number.

I do not go to the IPlayer pages <smiles>.

  Hope this is useful.

  Best wishes

  Henry

I am certain this is my stupidity, but

I have been on the IPlayer pages plus the schedule pages but I can not find
a PID for love nor money.

Could somebody tell me if I am looking for an episode of "Book at Bedtime"
how I would find the PID?

Any episode any book just need to know the stages I need to proceed through
so I can find just one number, sorry about this.

  Jeff
